Okay, So I've been going after leather scents, for whatever reason, and I'm looking to round out my collection. The regular rotation now are Knize 10 and Dzing! and Cuir Mauresques. Can't find the love in Royal English Leather. Smells too much like, well, what somebody trying to make you. I wore it on Friday night even though it has been warming up it was nice and I'd like to start wearing it more. I don't want to be wasteful with the parfum. There is no edp of Cuir de Russie, only edt and parfum. That being said, if I compare edt and parfum, you'll probably need a little less of the parfum since it is more concentrated with a heavier base. I have a vintage bottle of Cuir de Russie EdT which is very nice. I have never smelt the Les Exclusifs version. What do you think are the differences between them, if any??I love the floral leather accord that is central to Cuir Mauresque, and common to so many others including Chanel's Cuir de Russie (the most famous example), Cuir Cannage, Knize Ten Golden Edition, and Roja Dove's Great Britain to name a few.
